St. Patrick’s Day celebrates all things Irish. The color green is at the forefront on this day.
We’re talking green outfits, green recipes, and of course, green cocktail drinks. With the following options in mind, you ought to be not short of options come Mar 17.
1. Irish Maid Whiskey
Ingredients:
Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey: 2 oz
lime juice: 1 oz
plain syrup: .75 oz
muddled Japanese cucumber: 3 slices
cucumber slice & two mint leaves
Instructions:
Combine lime juice, whiskey, cucumbers, and simple syrup in a shaker glass, and muddle together. Toss in some ice and shake well. Strain in a rocks glass over an ice block. Use mint and fresh cucumber to garnish through the middle then pour into your NeckSip.
2. Saint Casa
Ingredients:
Casamigos Anejo: 1.5 oz
Creme de Mure: .5 oz
agave nectar: .25 oz
Guinness Beer
Instructions:
Combine the ingredients in a tin shaker leaving only Guinness. Add some ice. Shake well for 10-12 seconds. Fine strain the drink into your NeckSip. Top off using Guinness beer. Add 2 fresh blackberries thru the skewer with edible gold and green glitter on top for garnishing.
3. Irish Negroni
Ingredients:
Red Bush Irish Whiskey: 1 part
herbal aperitif (like Campari): 1 part
sweet red vermouth: 1 part
Orange peel
Instructions:
Combine the above in a rocks glass. Add a few ice cubes and stir well till it’s properly mixed and you’re ready to serve in NeckSips.
4. Kale Cocktail
Ingredients:
tequila blanco: 1.5 oz
kale juice: 1 oz
cucumber juice: half oz
fresh lemon juice: half oz
ginger beer: .75 oz
plain syrup:25 oz
Instructions:
Mix each of the above constituents in a shaker tin, add ice cubes and shake vigorously. Double strain and garnish using Bolivian pink salt.
5. Green Street Drambuie
Ingredients:
Drambuie: 1.5 oz
1 spicy ginger teabag
fresh cucumber juice: 3 oz
fresh lemon juice: .5 oz
Sweetener as required
Instructions:
Infuse 1 tea bag in up to half a cup of Drambuie for 60 min. Remove bag and squeeze out excess. Mix all the ingredients well in a tin. Shake thoroughly. Double strain and garnish with lemon wheel slices into your NeckSip.
6. Finnegan’s Wake
Ingredients:
Luxardo maraschino liqueur: 1 oz
Jameson: 1 oz
three to five mint leaves
Green Chartreuse:1 oz
1 oz lime
Instructions:
Add the above ingredients with ice to a shaker tin. Strain & shake then pour into your NeckSip. Add mint.
7. Shamrocked
Ingredients:
Midori Liqueur: 1.5 oz
Irish Crème: Half oz
Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey: 1 oz.
Instructions:
Shake & strain the ingredients into a double old-styled glass. Top off with homemade whipped cream and add mint for garnishing. Pour into your NeckSip.
8. Pot O’Gold
Ingredients:
Chartreuse: .75 oz
Grand Marnier: .75 oz
Tree Tonic Water
Microgreen
Edible gold flakes
Instructions:
Combine each of the above ingredients with ice. Stir well. Top tonic water splashes and garnish using microgreen and gold flakes. Pour into your NeckSip.
9. The Garden Negroni
Ingredients:
Tarquins Gin: 1.25 oz
Absenteroux Vermouth: .75 oz
Luxardo Bitter Bianco: .5 oz
Monin Matcha syrup
Seedlip Garden: .25 oz
Instructions:
Stir the above ingredients well with ice and serve in your NeckSips.
